Go Underwater for Gold with Your Underwater Metal Detector

Underwater metal detectors have brought a new perspective for modern prospectors and have proved to be extremely useful.

An underwater metal detector allows modern prospectors to search and find gold in different locations they didn’t have access to before. Now, everything has changed with these gold detectors which appeared a few years ago.

It seems prospectors have found consistent amounts of gold in the streams in the Mother Lode in Northern California.

Apparently, streams like the Feather, Cosumnes, the Yoube Rivers and some other streams in the area.

These amounts of gold discovered caused the gold rush in 1849, all gold miners going looking for the tens of billions of dollars worth of gold these streams were hiding.

The concept of underwater metal detector was unknown at that moment and therefore, large quantities of gold which were deposited at great depths under the water were unreachable to them.

Extracting the gold existent at those depths meant large amounts of money they couldn’t afford spending, lots of time invested and many difficulties to be faced with. Subsequently, prospectors started using gold dredges, but not all of them were highly efficient, some of them only being functional in the navigable areas.

Due to such reasons, a big part of California has remained unexploited, but everything has changed once the underwater metal detector was invented. The difficulties caused by the fact that gold was deposited at great depths are now much easier to deal with thanks to underwater metal detectors. These devices can catch up in terms of the time spent prospecting, the money invested and they provide an easier way to operate.

Underwater metal detectors don’t need to be handled by professional scuba diving experts, because there are many areas which hide gold, such as too wide rivers which run over four feet of water ad which haven’t been exploited yet. Of course, this may be an advantage if you jump into exploiting more difficult areas for gold.

Underwater metal detectors can also be used for all kinds of jobs on land, some of them being quite efficient on land, too. For instance, there are underwater metal detectors which are completely functional if introduced at two hundred and fifty feet under the ground. Since the invention of the underwater metal detector, the industry of gold mining has reached incredible levels, the improvement of technology offering impeccable methods of locating gold, either new or improved as compared to what prospectors could do a few years ago.
